Hello,

I guess this is the best place to know all the brands of PLCs in the world... rolleyes.gif

I wish that someone can contribute all the PLCs available, as there are a handful that I've not heard of, especially those from the European countires, and even in China and Korea.

I will start with some brands that I've heard of:

- Siemens - http://www.siemens.com
- Omron - http://www.omron.com
- Rockwell, Allen-Bradley - http://www.rockwell.com
- Jetter - http://www.jetter.de

Really hope that everyone will post in here to share more PLC brands available in the market... cool.gif

Well, that's a good idea, Praetorian smile.gif

Maybe it'll also be good if you were to start a few more of these threads in other topics, like worldwide brands for sensors, pneumatics, robots, and more... tongue.gif

And to contribute, I give you PLCs from:

- Mitsubishi Electric - http://www.meau.com/eprise/main/Home/Home
- Panasonic Electric Works - http://www.panasonic-electric-works.com/en.../en/plc/plc.htm
- Pilz - http://www.pilz.com

AutomationDirect selling KOYO PLC to US & Canada..

In Malaysia, you can look for DPControls at http://www.dpcontrols.com.my for KOYO PLC.

In Asia it is sold directly by Koyo Electronics Industries Co. Ltd. (http://www.koyoele.c.../plc/index.html) In Malaysia, the distributor is Mecomb Malaysia. I gathered it was a regional strategy since Mecomb Singapore and Mecomb Thailand also handle Koyo PLCs respectively. In Malaysia, I believe they work through DP Controls S/B.

Interestingly, we were told that Koyo Japan has a stake in PLC Direct. It was supposed to be an experiment in direct sales for automation and electrical / electronic products... Maybe someone else can confirm / elaborate.

thanks.
