2008 has been a very challenging year for most of us in the industrial sectors. Much have happened through this turbulent times with political uncertainties in the region, oil price hike, inflation, global financial crisis, closure of organizarions, retrenchments, and many others.
Many of us worry about the near future on what is going to happen next... Well, life has its ups and downs, and I believed that this is just a process of business trends.
Guess this is the time we should all take a step back to re-think our strategies, our business models, and how that we can turn this crisis into an opprtumity. While we know that the crisis will not last forever, so this may be a good time to relook at business structures, upgrade of management processes, marketing plans, operational costings, and more.
It is also a good time to take this opportunity to expand your business communities, identifying the value-chain, uniting with each other, and to create collaborations between one and other.
Therefore, we urge everyone in the industries to look positive, and to act positively in order to gain positive results. 2009 will be a good year, and I wish all of you the best in your businesses and excellent health.
