The SMF, in collaboration with the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants (ISCA) and the Singapore International Chamber of Commerce (SICC), successfully organised a panel discussion on "Sustainability in Manufacturing" on 1 November 2023.

The event was expertly moderated by Mr Wee Kwang K., Director of Nexia Singapore PAC. We were honoured to have a panel of esteemed speakers, including Dr Bicky Bhangu, President of Rolls-Royce (South East Asia, Pacific & South Korea), Mr Nigel Lee, Country Manager at Lenovo, and SMF's own Chief Sustainability Officer and Assistant Chief Executive, Mr Clement Teo.

Members from the three organisations gathered to engage in a meaningful dialogue, posing questions about sustainability and exploring ways in which the manufacturing sector can achieve it. One key takeaway is the vital importance of collaboration and partnership among companies to foster innovation, efficiency, and mutual growth.
