PHOENIX CONTACT - Ethernet/PROFINET Lines Pluggable Through The Control Cabinet Panel |
In modern automation systems, Ethernet or PROFINET devices installed on the field side often need to be connected to network structure components such as switches in the control cabinet. The switchover from IP67 degree of protection to IP20 degree of protection takes place at the control cabinet panel. This is both simple and convenient with the new bulkhead variants from the PLUSCON data product range. The M12 connection side of the compact bulkhead is led through the control cabinet panel and then screwed on the outside using the counter nut. When plugged in, the panel feed-through has IP65/IP67 protection. Wiring can be continued within the control cabinet using RJ45 patch lines with IP20 protection. The bulkheads are available as 4 or 8-pos., D or A-coded. The RJ45 socket exit is designed either as a 90° variant or a 180° variant.
