Singapore, August15, 2008– Frost & Sullivan hosted the annual Frost & Sullivan Asia Pacific Industrial Technologies Awards banquet today in Singapore. Many of the region’s top-class companies were honored with the most coveted titles in leadership, technology, strategy and innovation excellence. This year the Awards recognized outstanding performances by companies in the electronics & security, industrial automation & process control, energy & power systems, chemicals materials and food industries, as well as new and emerging technologies across these industries.
The President of the Singapore Manufacturers’ Federation, Mr.Renny Yeo graced the evening. Around 200 attendees of the ceremony included chief executive officers, country managers, executive directors, and presidents from all the different and vast industries of industrial technologies in the Asia Pacific region.
Introduced in the year 2006, the Awards acknowledge the best practices in various industrial technologies across Asia Pacific. This year additional categories across the industrial sector of Chemicals, Materials and Foods technologies have been added to thelist of awards. More than twenty prestigious titles were presented to companies at the banquet witnessed by existing and upcoming leaders in various industrial technologies.
The companies commended as award recipients are those which display exemplary achievements in areas such as market leadership, marketing strategy, business development strategy, market penetration, customer service, growth strategy, product line strategy, amongst others. Qualities such as diligence, perseverance, innovation and dedication required to develop a successful business plan and excel in the increasingly competitive global marketplace are pre-requisites of the illustrious award recipient.
