The FirstMate™ series computers are ECDIS panel computers with high performance Intel Core 2 Duo processors, and up to 4 GB of system memory to provide a powerful platform that is capable of operating all kinds of marine bridge applications. The FirstMate is specifically designed to be compatible with all the different types of navigation applications, such as ECDIS. The FirstMate features 22 inches of screen that is equipped with full range dimming and wide angle viewing to offer top-clarity display. In addition, the FirstMate uses our innovative Optical Bonding design, which eliminates fogging and sun-reflection to provide optimal viewing for harsh marine environments.

The FirstMate, with Moxa's innovative thermal technology, is fanless, and is vibration and shock-proof thanks to the 2.5” SATA storage socket design. With two RS-232/422/485 isolated serial ports and two Gigabit LAN ports to provide high speed Ethernet transmission and network redundancy, the FirstMate provides the most reliable and ruggedized bridge system for the marine industry.
