Macro Variant Technology
Building on the proven time saving benefit of EPLAN macros, EPLAN Electric P8 goes one step further. You now have the ability to insert sections of circuits (macros) with up to eight graphical variants containing pre-engineered data. For example, you can insert a macro of a motor starter circuit and select the variant containing the schematic representation as well as the appropriate engineering data for sizing the circuit breakers, fuses, overloads, forward/reversing starter, etc. EPLAN Electric P8 will then apply all of the pre-engineered data from that variant to your design.
