Since January 2008, a Montrac system in the Tech-Pol factory (Italy) has connected all presses to the central area, conveying 2600 boxes each day by means of 24 shuttles, whereby each shuttle travels a distance of approximately 19 km daily. Every 33 seconds, a shuttle goes through the unloading station and, after depositing the products, waits for the next call.

Tasks are assigned according to the principle of Chaos Technology, which means that any shuttle can be sent to any press. Due to space constraints, with some presses placed at just 500 mm from the wall, Montrac turned out to be the only viable solution for this customer..
